Groundwater Management in IWRM short course in Lusaka
VENUE: Lusaka, Zambia
DATE: 26th March 2012 TIME: 26th March 2012
Groundwater Management in IWRM is the 'flagship' course of the Africa Groundwater Network. This course is being organized by Dr Daniel Nkhuwa from the School of Mines, University of Zambia. Dr Nkuwa has spent many years studying the serious contamination of the karst aquifer that underlies significant parts of the city of Lusaka. This course should be of great interest and importance to those working with community water supply and who are concerned about drinking water quality, especially in the fast growing urban areas in Africa, where demand often outstrips the municipalities capacity to supply clean potable water.
